Murphy’s Craft Kitchen - Sidney
Murphy’s Craft Kitchen
Description
Nestled in downtown Sidney, this restaurant offers a diverse menu featuring dishes like chicken chopped salad and fish and chips, praised for their taste and prompt delivery. However, service inconsistencies mar the overall experience, with reports of slow acknowledgment from staff and wobbly tables detracting from the atmosphere. While some patrons appreciated the extensive tap beer selection and cozy ambiance, others found the dining room too dark and noise levels excessive. Safety concerns about pandemic protocols were also raised. Despite its potential, the restaurant needs to address service issues to elevate the dining experience further.
Feedback
I sat at the bar and had a wonderful experience. The service was excellent, and the nachos were delicious!
The chicken chopped salad was very good and my business associated enjoyed their chicken Philly steak and sweet potato puffs. The dining room was a little cold and drafty and it was a little dark inside for me. There was an extensive list of tap bears as well.
This was our second visit to the restaurant, and we brought my in-laws along, who also enjoyed it. The food is absolutely delicious, and there's a wide selection of drinks to choose from. Our waitress was a bit slow, but it allowed us to relax and enjoy our conversation. We will definitely be returning!
Food was great, my only complaints is that the service was not great. We didn’t have silverware until we asked for it. We constantly asked for refills of water and when we asked one of the food runners she didn’t even know how to get a new bottle. Seems odd there isn’t some slight cross training there. Overall it was good, but the service could’ve been better. They weren’t that busy when we came.
