Fresh Tandoori Flavour, Indian Restaurant - Sidney

Amazing food! Best Indian in Sidney! I ordered delivery and didn't have much to type tonight, but the food was absolutely amazing, so I thought I would. Order the Cashew chicken corma!!! It is amazing and they also have delicious samosas!!!! The best Naan I've ever had. I lived in Surrey and ate my fair share of Indian food, so I definitely know what? s good and this place is it!!!!!!!!!

Came over this restaurant when I was in Sidney. Ordnete Chana Tikki/Samosa. It was an average endurance. Samosa was good, tikki wasn't. Can hardly see yogurt and Chutney in the plate, so much less. Masala tea was good. A server was good and another one was in bad mood. They need to update their timings as the restaurant was closed at 3 p.m.

This restaurant is always wonderful! Great food, great service, great atmosphere. My favorite Indian food place in all of the greater Victoria area : their lamb korma is top notch!!

We went to Tandori Flavour in Sidney on a Sunday, in late May around 6 pm. As we approached the entrance to the restaurant, we saw a wooden pallets with loose garbage by the front door. There was a handwritten notice on the front door stating the restaurant was closed, but the lights were on and we could see a couple of people inside. This first impression was not very encouraging. The restaurant was fairly empty. There was only a couple waiting for their take-out order. We asked the lady at the front desk whether we could sit at a table by the window but she said No. We had to sit at a table by the front door that was already set up. Shortly after, an East Indian couple came in and asked for the same table, and the young lady immediately set up that table for them. Unfortunately our experience went downhill from that point. I ordered the vegetable biryani and my husband ordered chicken vindaloo. When the waitress asked how hot we would like our food, we said we would like it mild. However, she told my husband they could not make chicken vindaloo mild, so he had to settle for butter chicken. Although the servings were generous, and the butter chicken was tasty, the vegetable biryani was inedible. The vegetables consisted of big chunks of zucchini and a couple of sad- looking pieces of cauliflower. The dish had an unpleasant taste, I could not identify, and the rice did not taste freshly cooked. However, when I voiced my dissatisfaction to the young lady at the front desk, she was gracious, apologized profusely and did not charge us for the biryani. We have mixed feelings about this restaurant, and I am not sure whether we will try it again. I must say they do a brisk take-out business. While we were waiting for our food, we counted at least half a dozen customers leaving with large take-out orders.

Very disappointed by this restaurant. I ordered take-out online and when I went to pick it up and pay for it, I noticed that $4.72 was added as a tip. I did not add a tip to the sum when I ordered online and the server insisted that it could not (or not) remove the fee that was added without my consent. Pay attention to your bill for unauthorized fees. I'm not going back.
