Stopped by here for a light dinner before our flight to Calgary. The waitress provided us with excellent service. We shared an asian salad and a goat cheese flatbread. Both were very fresh and tasty. We have been here a number of times and always find it to be one of the better White Spot Restaurants that we have been to. View all feedback.
What Bernard Vandervort doesn't like about White Spot:
We were hoping to bite before our flight. With an hour before the need to go through safety e thought a lot of time. 45 minutes waiting and still no food, so my husband went without waiting. We waited for half an hour. The...Waitress hasn't even apologized, but there are usually half an hour waiting for food that would have worked well if it had actually come within that time or a little longer. Overall this is a pretty good white spotThe servers try hard most of the time.
Love eating white spot the food is always good It took about 30 minutes for our food to arrive and they weren't that busy.
I have great childhood memories of going to the White Spot for their food -- usually burgers -- but their breakfasts usually have not disappointed.
Slightly hampered by a liquor license that does not allow the restaurant to serve alcohol before 10 am, the staff made up for that with exceptional service and yummy breakfast.Candied salmon, goat cheese, and a spinach in an omelette is something that should be served everywhere !A nice change from the mediocre Vancouver airport restaurants.
Quinoa lifts oatmeal out of the bland boring basement without compromising its satisfying rusticity. Toasted almonds adds to the nutty complexity, and dried cranberries provide a sweet contrast. I did not need, or want, the milk and brown sugar. A side of fruit salad rounded off the meal perfectly. The presentation in a cast iron pan plays up the rustic wholesomeness of this dish. This White Spot at the Victoria International Airport is, as I have written before, the best airport restaurant that I have found, and I have been to far more airports around the world than I can count. Best of all, it is located in the main concourse. I happily show up early to grab a bite before proceeding through security. Or I have enjoyed a meal here with friends who have come to pick me up. Service is friendly and timely and the atmosphere is comfortable. The staff are great at getting you fed and on your way if your time is pressed, but the meal never feels rushed. And if you have time to relax, there is no pressure for you to make room for others.
