My wife usually peels off the deep-fried coating from her fish and then scolds me for finishing her leftovers. Not this time, though—she actually enjoyed the breaded fish, saying it wasn't greasy and had a great flavor. We both had the cod, and I liked my meal as well. The fries were tasty, although a little soggy, which could be due to the ten-minute wait from takeout to when we sat down to eat.
This place is a fantastic hidden gem. It's a bit off the main street in Sidney, but the walk is definitely worth it. The outdoor covered patio gives off a lovely beach vibe, reminiscent of Florida. The fish and chips are fresh, and they even offer wine by the glass. Prices are quite reasonable too. However, they don't have any gluten-free options.
