The burgers are good and giant, but 18 bucks is alot for a burger. I'd say worth trying but definitely other places in the city with great burgers for more reasonable prices.
If you're a metalhead, this is the place for you. I'm not so much a metalhead, but I love GWAR and when I heard they had a burger named after them I had to come try it out. It was absolutely delicious, though I would have been fine with even more goat cheese on it. Would love to come here again on subsequent Chicago trips and try out other various band-themed burgers.
Some might look at this place and think it is just a kitchy burger place: burgers, beer, heaven metal music. That in and of itself will get people in the door. Your could ride that that theme and give sub standard food (I am looking at you hard rock cafe… But this is NOT this type of place. The food is thoughtful, even if trys to act like it is not. The flavors are spot on and pair well with their beer. They know what they are about and deliver. The best part of the meal is the burger. Man … – show
