What Nathan Grigsby doesn't like about Chicago's Dog House:
Unfortunately it’s not really chicago style with ALL of the celery salt That’s all you taste You can tell they try to save money on the size of the hotdogs. So it’s just condiments. Will not return. Very disappointing after looking at a menu with such unique hotdogs Can’t even get a basic Chicago dog right Their jumbo is smaller than a regular portillos. Delicious dogs with a smokey flavor. Definitely a cut above your typical hot dog, but still a humble place, love it.
Nice guy, unfortunately the day I went he was a one man show with a packed restaurant.he ended up refunding me for the wait and gave me a free hotdog that he had prepared for my order already.
A+ will come back to try more . Friendly staff . Fireee
The veggie Chicago hot dog was pretty good (it was a tad too salty. Next time, I’ll just ask for it without the salt. The fries were spot-on, crispy and just perfect. The staff was friendly. It took about 15 minutes for the food to come out. Cool spot!
I didn't even get a dog, but ironically that was the best burger I have ever had.
