Amazing food, definitely the best Mexican dishes in Humbolt Park. The chicken burrito/enchiladas are fire, just make sure to add avocado and you can’t go wrong 10/10 View all feedback.
What Jacklyn E doesn't like about Chema's:
I have mixed feelings about this place.. We had the pitcher of margarita which was really good, the ceviche which was fresh but just ok and the “market price” guacamole. The guac needed some ingredients (we added them) but those three items added up to over $115 that is where I dont think it's worth it. Service was great though View all feedback.

My review is for the torta de asada only… the meat does not look like it was asada looks more like it was boil and had this white color it did not taste good..the meat extremely dry. And hard..
“You could eat that once everyday for the rest of life and be happy” “Yea… for 12.50” “Literally…”

I ordered the caldo de pollo, gordita de rajas, sope de chicharrón, quesadilla de espinacas y hongos as well as a cheeseburger. And 2 aguas and a orange juice. The cheeseburger was good as well as the quesadilla, but the pollo was undercooked, we literally placed the chicken aside and just drank the caldo. The gordita and sope felt soggy as if they were reheated. This was a$65 order and basically had 1/2 of it going to waste.
