My absolute favorite place for tacos in Chicago! The carnitas taco is everything!!! I also love the smoky habanero sauce. I don’t like spicy, but this is amazing. They have gluten free option available. View all feedback.
What Charlene O'Quinn doesn't like about Boonie's Filipino:
Manager chose to debate on the phone about offering sauce for tacos referring to the habanero sauce which I am told is a long process to make. It was explained as a 3 day process to make sauce. I visited the location on Wednesday, 2/26 at 11:45 a.m. to be told there was no more sauce so how is it when I call on Thursday, 2/27 at 10:35 a.m. they miraculously have ONLY 20 cups of sauce. When asked about producing more to accommodate customer 's requests again manager was defensive and said, this is a slow period for them this same issue happened in January. Tacos are overpriced as this location is downtown Chicago and let 's face it rent has to be paid but not extremely overly delicious but the habanero sauce helps. You can get better tacos from the numerous food trucks downtown.

Delicious tacos with handmade shells and fresh ingredients. Really tasty salsa too
Great tacos! The carnitas one was delicious! The pork was super tender and it came with a tasty bacon on top. The crispy fish one was also awesome! Definitely a good pick if you are exploring the options in Revival.
I had the chips and guac, and fish tacos. They have the BEST guac and salsa! If you’re looking for a quick taco run and good price, this is your place. Chips were fresh and the guac was way above average. My only critique is there isn’t much variety on the menu.
