Really cool place with plenty of street parking. The shishito peppers are finger licking good. The burrata appetizer was also grear, as is everything else I've had here before, but I wouldn't order the ribeye again. At $40 for a 16oz cut it seemed like a bargain. The flavor on the meat was nice and the pile of fries was appreciated but the meat was sinewy and not well-marbled. View all feedback.
What T M doesn't like about Ada Street:
Showed up for my birthday reservation that we had to make on open table. I have always heard good things about the menu and drinks here. However we showed up only to realize it was about 100 degrees in the restaurant. We asked for ice with our water and it melted immediately. Brussel, carpaccio, gnocchi, steak were fantastic. Service was great and everyone was so friendly and on pulse

Great, tucked away spot for a date! Definitely plan to order and share so you can try more of the excellent menu
The decor and atmosphere walking in were fantastic, the cocktail menu was very exciting, and I highly recommend ordering anything with their house made ginger syrup. Unfortunately the food menu was a real miss for me, our waiter told us we would need 2 plates per person which was way too much, and the pork was seasoned bizarrely.
Everything was delicious here and I would gladly come back whenever I visit Chicago next. We were a group of 8 celebrating for a bachelorette weekend and this was a really nice, special meal together. We were a little intimidated by the shared plates ordering, but our waitress was super helpful in figuring out how much to order and even provided recommendations for where to go out later that night.
