We had a very nice experience here. We came at 8pm on a Sunday and it was not crowded, as it usually is during dinner hours. We got the Hibachi and the food was prepared right in front of us by a very friendly Hibachi Chef. He made many jokes and we had a good time with another couple that was seated across from us that we did not know. The atmosphere was hip and the restaurant loomed very modern. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Sakura Japanese Steak, Seafood House Sushi:
As a person who likes to do hibachi for me and my family holds some weight. It felt more like the cooks wanted us out of the way than they had to entertain us with their skills. Beverages were on the point, but I felt like the food had no season. Everything just felt hurried. View all feedback.
I'm allergic to avocado. I placed my order and informed them specifically about my food allergy. The entrance did not give an avocado. To my surprise when I came home, Avocado was in my role. It wasn't the first time I experienced it. I need a new sushi spot or I need to learn to make sushi. Beyond disappointed.
This used to be our favorite place, now since Covid the prices have gone up and the portions are smaller. Our chef at the grill just came out cooked the food and was done, didn?t even talk. I ordered filet and they brought out New York strip I did correct it but had to wait. For $280 I wasn?t pleased!! 2 stars because the food still tasted great but everything else has gone down hill
I ordered take out I was disappointed with my meal. I had chicken and scallops. The chicken was dry the scallops were ok. The side salad was lettuce with a few pieces of sliced carrots. It was definitely not worth $30. I won't be going back.
The service was the worst I have ever experienced. I ordered an avocado salad. I specifically asked what was in it other than the obvious. The waitress was only able to describe that it came with crunches. I received the salad which was loaded with white and brown sauces and maybe other toppings which I could not describe what they were. I returned the salad immediately and then was served with a half of portion of brownish /green lettuce and about a third of an avocado. The cost was $7.95. I ended up not ordering anything else or eating the salad. I also ordered a sprite and was offered a refill of lemonade several times. The server was not attentive. I was very disappointed and dissatisfied.
