Capsicum - Sibiu

Capsicum is about that simplicity which astonishes when discovered. It is a place of gastrorgasm.A medium to small size restaurant (best to call for reservation), well priced in the medium range, with a very friendly and caring service, lovely classic music, nice view and...that food! We had 5 courses: two soups, two meat dishes and desert. All deliciously simple till the very end. Well balanced flavours, particularly the exotic ones, carefully blended textures, the right amount in the plate. On top of all this, the wine recommendation was just perfect to suit all of the above.A must know detail: the menu is rather limited, yet well selected dishes are there to suit almost all tastes. And several dishes are replaced with new ones almost every week. A great concept considering the gastronomic experience this place offers.Capsicum has made it 1st place on my list in Sibiu. And top 3 in Romania. Well done!

מסעדה קטנה שמגישה כל פעם מבחר קטן של מנות אך מגוונות. כל המנות שאכלנו היו פשוט מעולות!!!! התפריט רשום בגיר על לוח משום שמשתנה כל הזמן. מאוד מאוד טעים ומומלץ.

It's a small place but it has a very kind staff, delicious food and music of good taste! Recommend it to couples or anyone basically :)

We entered accidentally, searching for dinner, place to sit and because of TripAdvisor's logo. The place is little, but cozy. At the entrance there is big board, and menu written with a chalk.The food is mainly Asian, we had a soup and beef with rice, and the dishes were tasty. Our main problem was that they don't have courses for kids, and our kid is picky with his food, but eventually he ate the beef and liked it. Nice place, good food, not costly.

I came in here yesterday alone for a late lunch and a staff member translated the menu for me. The prices are average for the area; my starter was 19 lei. Several inventive veg options available. For a starter it was a generous portion and tasted lovely. My slight complaint is the chef seemed absolutely bothered to stop reading his book to cook for me.
