What John Alhelm doesn't like about The Apple Tree At Onibury:
A total dump. The place is minging. Gross food, frozen peas, frozen chips frozen pie. Absolute trash for £13.50 and a lamb shank, chips and peas with Bisto gravy I wouldn't feed to my dog. That was £18.50. Cafe food that I would gladly have paid £6.95 and £10.50 for. Full of local goons, couldn't wait to pay and get out. 1st and last visit to this caff. View all feedback. What RazzyBthefirst likes about The Apple Tree At Onibury:
I stopped by this village pub for a drink, not far from the main road. None of my acquaintances had been there before, but it turned out to be a lovely spot with delicious Butty Bach ale. It had a strong local vibe, with regulars keeping an eye on us. Although they were having a party and no food was available, it was still worth the visit. We sat outside in the rare sunshine at the front and had a great time. View all feedback.

read moreThe village pub received mixed reviews, with some criticizing the food quality and local clientele, while others praised the atmosphere, ale selection, and friendly service. Despite some negative feedback, the pub seemed to appeal to those looking for a traditional, local experience. Many enjoyed the authentic vibe and appreciated the efforts of the staff to accommodate special requests. Overall, the pub was described as a welcoming spot with some tasty offerings, especially in terms of ale selection. While some may not rush back, it seems worth a visit for those seeking a genuine, local pub experience.
