We stopped here for lunch on the way to wales and just managed to get there for lunch which closes at 2pm. Nice bar and we ate outside in the sunshine. Very friendly and reasonably priced. View all feedback.
What Shitfoodreviews doesn't like about Sitwell Arms:
This restaurant was absolutely awful. The staff were rude and lacked manners. They didn't even bother to check if everything was okay, and the food was disgusting. I would not recommend going there. View all feedback.
During our stay in Bucknell, we decided to visit the Sitwell Arms based on my partner's recommendation for a pint of Butty Bach! We received a warm welcome from Steve, the landlord, and the friendly locals. Unfortunately, we missed the Thursday pie and pint night, but we did attend the Friday fish, chips, and pint night, which was definitely worth it. We also noticed they offer an enticing all-you-can-eat Indian buffet, although we had already eaten. If you find yourself in the area, we highly recommend stopping by the Sitwell Arms for a visit (or two).
Stopped for Sunday lunch in this dog friendly pub while staying in the area. Excellent value carvery at £8.95 with choice of three meats, good range of veg and plenty of it. Friendly landlord and staff. Would definitely recommend visit again.
Booked Sunday lunch for two after hearing some good reviews and were not disappointed. We had one of the nicest meals out in a long time. Proper roast potatoes, Yorkshire puds and gravy. All nicely cooked and served with a smile. Will definitely be returning.

After getting caught in the rain while walking the Heart of Wales route, we decided to stop for a drink and a bite to eat. The staff and other customers were friendly. We appreciated the Landlord taking the time to share information about the area's history. Every piece of information helped illuminate the jigsaw puzzle of the route. Thank you!
