There are cute little animals on the premises, which is a nice bonus. The snacks, including breakfast options and bacon sandwiches, are delicious and offer excellent value for money.

While I was on a long walk along the River Severn in Castlefields, Shrewsbury, I stumbled upon The Weir. It's a fantastic spot to watch salmon jumping upstream, and I was delighted to find Polly's Kitchen nearby, overlooking the weir. The restaurant is brand new and in a wonderful location next to an animal farm. They have a delicious menu, but I opted for a cup of tea. The staff and owners were very friendly. I believe this place will become very popular once more people discover it. They have great accessibility for those with disabilities and it's a perfect spot for families with children. There's so much to see and enjoy here!

My friends and I frequently bike from Bicton Heath, through The Quarry, and along to the weir. Today, we were pleasantly surprised to stumble upon a newly opened cafe at our destination. We were greeted warmly by a lovely staff member and enjoyed a delicious full English breakfast and a vegetarian breakfast, along with fantastic coffee and tea. We will definitely be returning, especially after hearing praises from the neighboring table about the delicious chocolate cake.

Second visit to Pollys. Today we had breakfast which was awesome... really, it was. Its still early days, a few teething issues but these were sorted. Lovely place. Highly recommended.

This location was crying out for a cafe, given the stunning location overlooking the river and weir and there is nothing else near this part of the town. So, good for the owners of Polly's to have a go. It is early days but we really hope that it will succeed, although it needs a bit of a tweak, perhaps. The layout of the tables makes it rather cramped, and the decoration is very bland. Service is very friendly but a little slow, although that could be because it is quite busy, which is great. The food is ok, with a good selection and the prices are reasonable. This place deserves to succeed. It just needs to be slightly more professional. As things stand, I would recommend it.
