De... read more Gascons is a hidden gem that I regret not trying sooner. I finally visited on the evening of June 24th and ordered the Gascons Supreme with Smoked Pepperoni. Despite my initial worry about forgetting to request no pineapple (a result of past bad experiences with overly sweet and overpowering pineapple on pizzas), I was pleasantly surprised. The pineapple actually complemented the savory meats perfectly, making this artisan pizza a true masterpiece. The flavors were fantastic and the cheese was wonderfully stringy. The service was excellent and the pizza was outstanding. Priced at £8.95, this pizza was a great value compared to a similar restaurant I frequent in Wales, making Gascons the better choice in terms of quality and taste.
