Tavern In The Square - Shrewsbury

Todd, Chelsea and her staff were very friendly and professional as our family and friends (about 75) gathered on their terrace for a private reception. We had appetizers, pizzas and, of course, their famous notes. They kept our buffet full and were conscientious for all our food and drink needs! Your terrace is comfortable and airy and the perfect place to collect! Thank you. Todd, Chelsea and the rest of the gang to do this work for us!!

My husband and I had fish and chips, mine was gluten-free. It was absolutely delish! Gluten-free was such a treat for me, many years since I had the opportunity. We're coming back!

If you are looking for reviews to try this place, do not read what everyone writes. This place has Rockin’ food, more beer choices than you could think, and the service is great. They are very competitive with the region. Take Shrewsbury St everywhere and it's dead. It is the place to be on Friday/Saturday nights or even for dinner only. We love this new addition to Shrewsbury!

I had the chicken and waffles dish....not only was it fabulous tasting the combination of different flavors was amazing. The presentation of the plate was beautiful and made me enthusiastic to try. I've never eaten it before and asked me what the big deal was. OMG!!! I was so happy that I chose it. Our waitress Emily explained it was a test point in the menu. I told her it must definitely be a lasting element on the menu. My experience was completely positive and I will be back with more people very soon. Thank you. Our first time there- excellent burger and salad along with a nice bottle of Malbec. Topped with awesome live music and exceptional service from Bartenders Brian and Matt!!!
