The sushi was the worst part of the meal. Perhaps it was just a one-off bad day for the restaurant. Hopefully they can improve in the future.

Sushi Gen is my go-to spot for sushi. They completely changed my opinion about sushi! The food is consistently delicious and the staff is always friendly. I have never been disappointed with my orders, whether dining in or getting takeout. Some of my favorite dishes include the steak bento box, yam yam roll, shrimp tempura, spicy tuna, 007, and Osaka roll (with crab on top). Their clear soup and spicy mayo are fantastic. The only thing I'm not a huge fan of is their creamy style ginger dressing.

We were a bit unsure about entering the restaurant due to its outdated appearance from the outside. However, we were pleasantly surprised once we stepped inside. The interior was lovely, the waitstaff was very helpful and attentive, and the food was absolutely fantastic! I highly recommend this place. Food: 5/5.
