First time coming to this location. As usual, the was good, but what was impressed with was the service. The lady at the counter (call her Ms. D because of the pendant on her necklace) had a great attitude, was very personable, and had great work ethic. It's rare to find someone like that who deals with public all the time. Great job Ms. D!!! View all feedback.
What John Deck doesn't like about Sam's Southern Eatery:
The shrimp is good but the fish is too seasoned and fried hard and nasty. The woman at the counter is very unprofessional and tries to rush you to order your food very annoying. They're very stingy with the sauce so they can charge you for more. The people that own these restaurants just can't cook southern food correctly. View all feedback.
My hupicked up lunch for us. The food was very good.
If you like supporting muslims in America then you picked the right place. Most of the food served is unclean biblically
Small casual eatery that you order at window. There was a line of workmen when we arrived odering the burgers sandwiches. The cashier was efficient friendly was surprising how fast service was. We ordered fried fish shrimp w/fries red beans. Then shrimp crab cakes w/cole slaw, potatoe salad 2 drinks for total $37.xx. The outstanding item was the crabcake. The mince crab was easily seen was very yummy. The fried fish is not catfish but good. Disappointed with the fried shrimp. They are big LOOKED delicious in a golden batter only to bite find they are very very BLAND. The batter was was not seasoned. The shrimp is clean yet absolutely no shrimp flavor. Salt cocktail sauce would make it edible but were not available. Both coleslaw potatoes salad swimming in mayo but still tasty. The redbeans rice was a flat no with beans floating in boil brown water again NO seasoning. Overall, felt $37 to gigh for hit miss. Would travel back again only for the crabcake.

Sam’s Southern Eatery has the best homemade southern food I have had. The portions are large and the quality is outstanding! The collard greens and fried okra are delicious. They have healthy options as well you can have your fish, shrimp and chicken grilled or blackened! Love! Love! Love! Vegetarian options: They have plenty of vegetables but they are probably cooked with bacon! Dietary restrictions: They fix your food how you ask them to! Kid-friendliness: Family restaurant Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
