Ernie's made our night! I didn't catch the bartender's name (he had man bun and beard, very Jesus-y vibes took great care of us and made some amazing surprise drinks. We'll be back! View all feedback.
What M C doesn't like about Ernie's:
Seems to be hit or miss may be who the chef is at the time. Great winter salad one day and mediocre the next. Also the Rueben looks amazing in a picture on yelp the one we had was chips of meat and gristle! Music is super loud with hard rock at times. We generally like the vibe there mostly though. Inconsistent! View all feedback.
A fun place to hang out and the food is wonderful. We like to sit at the bar and kibbutz with the servers. Ernie 's is a cozy place that feels good.
The only savior for this place is the captive audience from visiting golfers and guests. The service and attitudes of most that work here is shameful, including the managers lack of care. When the managers don't care I guess the employees shouldn't either as it starts from the top down and it's obvious management does not care as they don't reply to any of the previous reviews. Only a couple of the folks that work here are good, Deliah and Dave the bartender are freindly and engaging. The overpriced food and lack of quality is a joke. How about a horrible $26 dollar Italian Sandwich. As a member of PGA West I brought two friends here for breakfast and they were treated like dirt. Besides the two previous employees I spoke of the only good thing is the setting and views and TV's for sports. This could be such a fun and enjoyable place if only the atmosphere would change and they improved the quality of the food and got their prices in line. I'll stick to the Private clubhouse, Kennedy's as Ernie's is an embarrasment and talk around town is everything I just stated!
Had a great lunch today at Ernie's. New menu options were all very tasty. Had a curry spiced soup, salmon with buckwheat noodles and the winter salad. All delicious. Great service, beautiful views.
Grabbed a breakfast sandwich before my round. The sandwich consists of English muffin, sausage, very fluffy eggs, and a surprisingly hot salsa. It was very good. Service was on point and a very comfortable place to hang out.
Popped in for lunch with my golf loving dad, who recently bought a home in La Quinta, and 1 year old son. Very quiet for lunch but we had lovely service from start to finish. Cocktails were cold and strong. The menu has something for everyone. The shrimp and tomato salad was huge, fresh and delicious. Definitely a great place to enjoy a 19th hole, lunch or snacks and drinks with a group to watch something on their big screens. We will definitely be back!
