China Bear - Shreveport

This is 1 of the better Chinese places we've found here. We prefer our sesame chicken to be crispy, this isn't. It also takes more like orange chicken, but it was good, if you can look past that. Their soups were good, but both the wonton egg drop needed a little soy sauce. The egg rolls were ok, but neither of us liked the spring rolls. Although, both had the perfect crisp. The Kung pao chicken and shrimp there shrimp lomein were very good.

Their chicken and brocolli with garlic sauce is one of our faves!!!

I absolutely love delivery! It makes my life so much easier. The service was quick and the food arrived piping hot. They provided plates, napkins, and all the sauces we requested to accompany our meal. The food itself was delicious. Personally, I really enjoyed the shrimp egg rolls and the perfectly cooked fried rice. I highly recommend both. The portions were generous, with each order of the Shrimp two ways serving two adults. Everything we tried from the shrimp side of the menu was fantastic. Each dish had its own unique flavor, unlike some places where everything tastes the same. This is the best and most delicious Chinese food we have had in Shreveport in years! We frequently eat Chinese cuisine, but our beloved go-to spot for the past 20 years has seemed to have changed. We have been on the lookout for a new favorite place to dine. After trying several restaurants in the 71105, 71106, and 71115 areas last year, we finally found the best one! The chicken meat was of great quality and incredibly flavorful. The Kung Pao chicken had many nuts and was cooked to perfection. The lo mein was excellent with a fantastic taste. All of our dishes were fresh and truly delicious.
