Ducking our heads in when we heard music, we were saddened when we got a thumbs down when asking if they were open. Indeed, they were in the process of finalising their refurbishment to re-open the following day. BUT when we asked where else we could drink Puka beer, the owner hooked up a keg and served us some cold ones. Drinking our beers out front of the venue attracted more and more people, all of whom were served even though the bar wasn 't technically open! We hung out with the owner 's daughters, made friends with locals, and had the most fun getting to be involved in the soft launch of this fantastic craft beer bar. Can 't wait to go back and spend more time there in the future. Definitely check it out if you like good beer and friendly service!
