Not sure why it has so many poor reviews. They must've improved since those were written! Loved my bento and fresh salmon yummy avocado and other veggies. It hit the spot! The bubble tea was OK. but if you're craving something sweet, the brown sugar will do! The bottle that it comes in is pretty adorable. Pricier but so seems the rest of Ballston Commons! I would come back! View all feedback.
What Ed Struble doesn't like about Roll’d:
Super slow. Placed an order, somehow the system didn’t process, but they didn’t say anything. We sat for like 15 min waiting, then when we asked they said the order never went through. No idea why they didn’t just say our order didn’t go. They got the order the second time, but we’re kind of rude about the whole thing. Overall, the sushi was your normal grocery store/gas station variety. View all feedback.

It was so cool to see them make the sushi in front of me, and the customizable bubble tea was delicious.
I didn't expect to see all these bad reviews. I like this place and frequent it often because I believe in the place. They keep their area clean and the put effort into delivering a good product. You can try anything and be happy. They also have candies for free if you want something sweet. I've never had bad service from this place. The location is great and convenient. If you can try sneaking some of their food into the movie theater. I'd rather eat sushi than popcorn. There small containers are easily fit into a coat pocket if you get them. If you get 3 basic rolls you will be about 16 bucks and you can eat that instead of a large popcorn for the same price. If you feeling fancy get the nigiri or sashimi that's also good if you want more fish. The fish tastes fresh and I don't really worry that I'll get sick. It's a good place I highly reccomend. I've tried basically everything. I don't know if I'd buy there boba though if there is a convenient nearby kung fu tea but I guess if they are busy you can come here. I been coming here since it opened.
I got the Phoenix roll which was pretty good but the tempura shrimp was definitely old, chewy. No wasabi came with the roll, which was a bummer. Overall ok, not great.
One of a couple food options located inside Ballston Quarter. The food court and the outdoor patio are both very spacious for dining in. They have selections of bento boxes, dumplings and poke salad. We already had dinner so we were only able to try their drink. I remember we initially ordered a fruit tea, but they ran out at that time so we ended up getting the Blueberry Bubble Tea. Although it was nice that the drink was served in a large plastic can, the flavor of the drink could have been better. After we placed our order from their self service kiosk, we noticed that their lights turned off, which was strange because online shows a later closing time. It did take awhile for our order to be ready, but their staff were attentive and friendly.
