I've been going to Dama for a long time and have never had a bad meal. My favorite is the vegetarian sampler which gives you quite a bit of variety, as you'd expect. What Abir N doesn't like about Dama Mart Carry-out:
If you are craving for a good quality of food you should not consider this place! We stopped by to try the pastry and the cake tastes awful, it tastes terrible and old! When we talked to the owner or whoever manages this place was very rude and he doesn't have any curtsy to apologize or offer anything else! Its been awhile since i ate here but the food is fantastic!!! when im in the area its the only place i go to for authentic Ethiopian food. the beef tibs are my favorite to order, the meat is so tender and full of flavor. The service is kind and quick. Parking is short spaces, but its worth the trouble.
My first time getting Ethiopian food and I was not disappointed. Really good food and very hospitable. Would 100% come back and telling friends to try this.
Delicious Ethiopian food. Eat here. I usually get the veggie combo. I've had cake and baklava from the bakery and they were good.
I left the DC area a few months ago but this was my favorite place to go for years. Ethiopian food is often vegan friendly but I have yet to find any other restaurant that does seitan tibs and really delicious ones too. The prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes, the staff is always very friendly, and I always enjoy every bite. I miss it so much. Their vegan cakes are also delicious so light and fluffy!
Delicious food and very sweet people who work at this restaurant. We got the vegetarian combo plate and it was absolutely amazing! We will continue to come here!
