Despite the cozy ambiance and comfortable seating options, some customers were disappointed by the lack of flavor and quality in the food and specialty drinks. While the wraps and pies are mentioned as highlights, other items like paninis and croissants fell short of expectations. Overall, the cafe offers a pleasant environment for socializing and enjoying a light meal, but may not be the best choice for those seeking exceptional food and beverages.
We decided to stop in for a bite on the way back from visiting Miscou Island. My sister had the steak panini, she said it was ok but there really wasn’t that much flavour. I decided to get the tuna sandwich. I only ate half, mine didn’t have much taste either, there was something missing, it was kind of dry. It had cucumbers in it and cheese but it was definitely lacking flavour. Unfortunately, it wasn’t worth the $8 I paid. This cafe is very nice and I think it’s a cool place to hang out, have a coffee, chat with friends. But I personally won’t be eating lunch here again.
This café provides a calm ambiance and serves the top-quality coffee in Shippagan. The staff is welcoming and efficient. The café has plenty of cozy couches available on both the lower and upper floors. Although a friend cautioned me that their specialty drinks were underwhelming.
The restaurant is really nice and clean. It is not too big or too small, making it a comfortable place to enjoy a meal. The food is also pretty good, especially the wraps and pies. As the title suggests, it has a relaxing atmosphere.
The restaurant had a beautiful ambiance, but we were incredibly disappointed by the quality of the food and coffee. We ordered a mochaccino and cappuccino, as well as croissants. The server even felt the need to warn us that the cappuccino contained espresso, which made us question what was in the mochaccino. The croissants were not flaky and buttery like they should be, but instead were pale and soggy. We felt that the croissants from Costco and grocery stores were of better quality. Save yourself the time and money by avoiding this place.
