Maison de la Fondue - Tracadie-Sheila

We went there although there were no reviews on Yelp (on Google they got complementing reviews and really enjoyed the dinner. Service was nice and efficient, food was good and accurate (we had a filler and didn't expect it to actually arrive medium done, but surprisingly it was perfect! Go there and you won't regret :

3 of us dined here on a Friday, reservations were required. Fondue is always pricey by my definition ... 2 of us started with a cheese fondue and then all of us had the broth fondues (chinois or espagnol latter a more highly flavoured broth). Seafood and meats were good. The prix fixe menu for one app of fried parmesan was deemed ok and maple fondue for dessert was good. With a bottle of wine, dinner for 3 was $230 with tax and tip.

We arrived and were promptly seated by the bright window, great. The place was cute and quaint, chairs and table were lovely. The waiter was prompt and served us well, but personally was lacking. Escargot was a 4/10 and my fish cakes, had way too much potato to hold them together. My scallop and mushroom entree was very heavy on potatoes, again. Scallops and mushrooms were negligible. Broccoli tasted burned from boiling the water off. My guests seafood casserole was cheesy, even thought he asked if he wanted cheese, declined. Shrimp were small, scallops and lobster made 0 statement in the dish. Did not order dessert, thought there might be more disappointment. Maybe we made the mistake of not ordering fondue

We enjoyed the food as my husband is gluten and dairy free and they really made everything he ordered to perfection. Very good service and excellent appetizers to start with. Very wide menu to pick from. Super place to eat for everyone!

Wow! I ordered the 3 course meal, bison and beef....excellent...large serving... caesar salad was original receipe, maple desart very good and not over sweet....memory made.
