Kakou Hyatt Regency Tokyo - Shinjukuku

It is true that during spring break and weekends the restaurant was full. As it is still an established luxury hotel, I wished they had put more effort into customer service. None of the staff had a smile on their face, and when they placed plates down, there was a lot of noise and clatter. The interior was lacking in ambiance and the food did not taste good at all. We celebrated a friend's 4th anniversary and a birthday for the second year, but we will not be returning.

Great value for the weekend buffet lunch. Kids enjoyed the sushi and desserts very much and the adults feast themselves with the snow crabs and sashimi. Overall excellent food and value

I ordered the Kaka Bento yesterday and found the dessert to be quite delicious as well. I used it for entertainment purposes and found myself feeling comfortable enough to speak with others. Despite it being a lunch reception, the atmosphere inside the restaurant was quiet, and I would definitely consider dining there again.

We celebrated our 5th anniversary at this restaurant. The atmosphere was calm and perfect for a leisurely meal. The final dish of matcha with duck and flower sticks was beautifully presented, although the abalone on a ceramic plate turned hard because it wasn't cut properly. Overall, the price was reasonable and we would definitely visit this restaurant again.
