eating was good and the atmosphere was lively. the service was terrible. the only restaurant in japan, where the service was without smiling and with a lot of apathetic and even eye-guard staff. very not helpful. View all feedback.
Excellent atmosphere and good service, but I didn’t enjoy the “fishing for food”. The fish are kept in cramped, small baskets, and fished without bait with hooks. With all the guests dragging hooks across them constantly, all day, hoping to hook one of them. Not cool.
The fishing part was the best! It was fun to experience although I wish they gave some recommendations on best ways to have the fish. It was confusing since I didn’t know what would be the best way to enjoy the fish
Really funy ans good place. Fishing is own food IS entertaining. Recommended
Delicious food and helpful staff. Staff gave us advice on how to catch the fish when they're not buying the bait.
It was a great experience overall and the service was excellent. The only thing that I would comment on is the time it took to catch a fish of choice. I recommend this restaurant for visitors to Japan!
