Authentic and fresh Naga cuisine. The menu is short and precise, which means they prepare everything fresh. You will get options from pork, beef and chickens Thalis. The food is really delicious and has red chilli for the heat (not for you if you are not like hot food). The staff is helpful. The restaurant is small and not very large in the ambience. What User doesn't like about Naga Rice:
food quality is not good. specifically the local rice is not digestable for all person. You should skip rice in your lunch. Instead of this you may eat maggi, nooodles, soups etc. In the northern and western part of Meghalaya food is not too tasty at all. you should keep biscuits, cakes, dryfruits, chocolates in your bag. Delicious Naga food with good and warm hospitality of the staff. If you want to taste Naga food, visit this hotel when you visit Shillong. This is located directly in the center of the police Bazar of GS street, Shillong.

A small place in the crowded streets of Police Bazar. Very nice ambience with wooden interiors and tables. This place in serves axone rice with choice of meat smoked, fresh or curry. Delighted
Good homely food. Loved the rice especially. Fresh beef thali is definitely worth trying. I would say that the place is a little too congested, for the lack of a better word. But a nice little place to get some authentic Naga food.
This place is just in the heart of the city of Shillong Police Bazaar run by a young Naga man, this place offers you naga food like fresh pork or smoked pork, fish, chicken with bamboo shoot, axone chutney, vegetable boil, dal, soup and with the local red rice. If you are Shillong and missed your home food definitely you must visit this Naga rice hotel. Its just 10 meters away from the Chennai Junction Restaurant which is opposite to Center Point Hotel.
