City Hut Family Dhaba - Shillong

One of the best restaurants in Shillong. You will have a great experience here with soothing music, personal hospitality, ambience and decor. Open kitchen, nice food presentation, delicious food, family restaurant, spacious parking, good service and hygiene. Definitely recommended.

Great value for money. quantity and quality of food is simply awesome. We were served by Mr. Steward Ranjan, who had been extremely nice and homely to us. We took three dishes which we found later to be too much for us as they serve really generous quantity per dish so we asked to get the left over dishes packed There was just little amount of rice which we were hesitant to ask for packing. But, to my superise I loved his sense of responsibility when Mr. Steward asked us to taste a little bit of the hot curry which was untouched so that we don't miss out on how it tastes when fresh and he also suggested us to get the remaining rice packed, which we found truly commendable and appreciable. Overall, loved the food, ambience, place and people there.

The best restaurant in the entire Meghalaya. The food was awesome. The amount for the price of food was really great. We were served drinks on arriving into the reception. We had to wait for 15mins as the restaurant was fully booked. But had no problem getting our seat. The ambience was top notch. Also the staff was very friendly and soft spoken. Really loved the experience of dining their. A must go for any Shillong goer. This is the best restaurant you will get. The price is also not too high. Enjoy the experience of City Hut Dhaba.

Do not be discouraged by the name dhaba, that is a real fine Dine experience best. The staff is courteous from the accompaniment to your seats to the final billing. Ambience was set up to give a very good experience. They were aware of placing a room warmer in a cold afternoon. Food was mouth water and delicious. There are a number of desserts also to try. Prices are quite affordable. Many parking spaces are available. Google could lead you wrong, actually entrance is from the Oakland road side.

A nice and cozy restaurant cum dhaba. The waiters and service of this restaurant is from the next level, they are highly professional. The food was delicious, u get a free parrot with your food order. But u must first make a reservation as there is a lot of waiting time. Food prices are moderate. The most striking thing about this restaurant is its ambience!! Total experience was fantastic.
