The hot mustard was excellent, and the food was served hot and full of flavor. I dined in for dinner, and the price per person was around $10–20. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all at 4 out of 5. View all feedback.
What Smith Phone doesn't like about Chinese Pavilion Hunan:
I actually didn't eat here because the buffet was not in operation. It was dark and smelly. I left. So sad to see this place go down. It used to be the only place I enjoyed going out to eat Chinese food in the area. Now I can't go back. Atmosphere: 1 View all feedback.
Marvelous buffet.... But give yourself a special treat and ask for a menu. The seafood soup is sublime!
Still our favorite after 10 years. Still the best, bar none!!! Ten years ago, this restaurant was where we had our rehearsal dinner. It was very good then, and our guests (who are from all over the country) still say it is the standard by which they measure other Chinese restaurants. It's still that good after 10 years!! We have eaten Chinese in several countries and in many, many states, and Chinese Pavilion is STILL our #1 favorite. We go there every time we are in town. Yum.
Excellent General Tso Chicken among other great entrées. Prices are still reasonable compared to other restaurants. Very authentic feeling in the restaurant, although it is easy to miss to drive past. Our family really loved eating and I'm sure you too.
I ordered a few times, but this review will focus on dune. I never had the buffet, but I ordered here and the food is pretty great. The service is what deserves this place 5 stars. You also have plenty of space to book for companies or organizations. It's nice that it kind of sucked away, but the appeal has to be a date or family place.
Food has always been good, but the buffet is no longer available. Buffet has been gone since co-vid came about. It was one of the better buffets around.
