At first I was sketched out because, let?s be honest, seafood has a bad rep anywhere ocean water isn?t. That being said- this place was without a doubt the best seafood joint around these parts. Up to par with one of my favorite restaurantscalled ?the boiling crab ? in Westwood, Los Angeles., CA. I mean, EVERYTHING was good. The super shack platter was so damn good.The mussels were amazing, the tuna was delicious, the catfish, the fries even the side or steamed vegetables were like soamazing and I?ve never been to a seafood place where absolutely everything was delicious. There?s usually at least one bad dishbut no, it?s all good. The owners are super kind and it?s family owned and operated. He came to our table and introduced himselfand checked to see how everything was. I loved it. We found our new go-to seafood restaurant when we are in the area. We arestill talking about it hours later. Absolutely recommend!

First time coming here for date night with the hubby and we have found our new favorite spot. We ordered the old iron post, and though a little pricey, was enough to eat for days. And beyond tastey! The bread pudding is made fresh from oneof the employees and was so good. This place is a must try!

I’ve tried boil bags from many restaurants all over the metroplex, and whenever I treat myself, it’s always a boil bag. For my birthday, I visited Super Shack, expecting it to be just okay since it’s a bit far from the city and gulf. But I can honestly say this was the best boil bag I’ve ever had, no exaggeration. The sauce immediately caught my attention—it was a simple butter and garlic, but absolutely amazing. The crab meat was tender and flavorful, the shrimp had a great pop, and all the sides were delicious. To top it off, the owner was incredibly kind and brought me a slice of homemade cheesecake to celebrate. It was outstanding, with a fruit sauce on top that tasted authentic and fresh. The boil bag was on the pricier side, but every penny was worth it. I give Super Shack a 100/10! Be sure to check out their menu—you can really tell the owner uses his own recipes and makes everything from scratch.

The staff were friendly, and the portions were generous. My only downside was that the boil lacked spice and seasoning. Overall, I’d rate it 3.5 stars.

I tried the Birria Nachos; the meat was incredibly tender and flavorful, though I wasn’t a fan of the cheese sauce—it was a bit grainy and slightly salty. Still, I finished the dish and left feeling very full. The prices are a bit on the higher side, but the quality justifies it. When I mentioned it was her birthday, they kindly brought out a slice of cheesecake. They said everything, including the cheesecake, was made in-house, which was really impressive!
