Eating here is always delicious. The prices may be a bit high initially, but I assure you, it's worth it. We had a great time, enjoyed some drinks, and had a blast. One downside was that the room was a bit dirty, and the karaoke remote control didn't work well. Our server was a bit pushy, but we didn't let that ruin our experience. What Grady Abbott doesn't like about Dansungsa Karaoke Korean Food Happy Hour:
I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The food was burnt and lacked flavor. When I mentioned it to the staff, they refused to refund me even though I didn't ask for one after waiting 30 minutes. I just wanted to let them know. It was my first time trying Korean food and unfortunately it was not a pleasant experience. View all feedback.
I'm so glad I found this place. eating here was extraordinary and the place has a really amazing mood. the service was a bit slow, but it was also a busy day. if they like well lit places, this might not be the one for them, but eating will not disappoint. on the tables and on the wall there are writing and art and we have also added some funny things. would definitely recommend the Yangyum chicken.
I was here twice in a week. eating here is very addictive. it is a little expensive, but the portion sizes are huge. for 16 they get enough food for two people, a very hungry person, or rest for the next day. my only complaint is the lack of well drinks/refills on the soda

I go to the late night hunger pangs and bond. the drinks are affordable, ice-cold, and they pair well with the well portioned participants.
The Dansungsa is a cozy restaurant in Dallas that has excellent decor, television that plays Korean music videos that are always a treat to watch and other channels. While the service was slow, it was to be expected due to the food being cooked in the restaurant. The wait was worth it, of course. The plates we received were colorful and delicious. A true culinary delight. We even shared the plates amongst ourselves to further treat our tastebuds. It was an excellent meal and I would recommend the place to anyone that asks. I was unable to enter the karaoke rooms due to time but I would if I were ever to return. The bar is also stocked with a variety of liquors that are sure to enhance one's meal (not mine; I don't like alcohol). Again, this establishment would be one I'd recommend to people, especially if they want to taste Asian dishes.
