Their salsa is basically spicy tomato juice. Had to ask for onions and peppers to add to it. But once my fajita came, I had to forgive them about the salsa. Excellent food. Go there! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Las Delicias:
The food at this restaurant is good, but the service is so disappointing that it's not worth the two-hour wait for a meal. I would suggest trying La Herradura on Main Street instead. View all feedback.
Las Delicias is a Mexican restaurant located in a historic brick building with a large menu. Upon sitting down, we were served a generous basket of chips and salsa. I ordered the combo plate with 2 tacos (1 beef and 1 shredded pork) while my partner ordered the burrito. Both dishes were delicious and on par with other Mexican restaurants we have visited in bigger cities. They also offer a separate lunch menu. We dined on a Thursday evening at 6:30pm and were seated after a brief 10-minute wait for a host. The restaurant quickly filled up, suggesting it's best to arrive before 6pm to avoid a wait. Unfortunately, the service was slow for us compared to another couple who arrived after us and received their food before us. It seemed like the restaurant was short-staffed, which may have explained the discrepancy in wait times. Despite this, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and would recommend this restaurant.
Eating was quite good. terrible underoccupied, so it took too long to get refilled on chips or drinks. the food delivery lasted 10 minutes from the beginning to have all our meals.
Absolutely horrendous experience. 10 minutes to get seated, 20 minutes to take our order, over an hour to get our food. We only got our food after asking a different server. The food that they did bring us was cold and SOGGY. We asked to speak to the manager several time and he REFUSED to come to our table. On the 4th time he had the waitress tell us we don't have to pay. Almost 2 hours in this restaurant and we had to leave hungry. Such a sad disappointment.
Say Yes, please, to exit 23! When your hungry, traveling, and don’t know an area ……. ! Everything in Sheridan looked closed, depleted, inactive, and empty. We were looking for restaurants that the map showed. By the map you would believe the town was bustling. But we arrived to find a visually inactive location. Thanks to a bright neon sign in the window, that said open, at 2 in the afternoon, we stopped. MEXICAN IT IS. Place was clean, portions were huge, friendliest we have seen in 12 states. Belly’s full and back on the Highway! Well worth the stop. Thank you!
We ordered 1 appetizer and their queso. The tea has an off taste, the chips are stale, we have been here 40+ minutes and still have not gotten the 1 appetizer we ordered. We came here because it was recommended. It's a neat looking newer restaurant. We got our appetizer, but it is on the bland side. The salsa was akin to a watered down ketchup with a lot of cilantro and some onions.
