La Herradura - Sheridan

Great food in a small place. It looks small from outside, but you get a huge dish of delicious food. I thought I knew what I wanted, but my waiter recommended something he thought I would want it better, and he was absolutely right. Give him a shot and you won't be disappointed. Besides, the staff is incredibly friendly and the food is authentic.

Wanted to eat in a local facility and found this hidden jewel in Sheridan. It was very busy, but we could sit right away. We were served chips and salsa while we looked over the menu. The menu had a wide selection and gluten-free options. Prices were reasonable, especially under $20/dish. I decided to go with the special, Pollo en mol and my son got pollen empanizado. It was tasty and we went with full boozes.

The waiters are great, the food is delicious, and they have live music several nights. Unlike some Mexican restaurants, there are many other options than just Fajitas and Quesadillas, there are a lot of authentic dishes to choose. If it is busy, it can be overcrowded, but there is also a beautiful terrace. As said, the waiters are great- they are nice and stick with what you need when you need it. Very recommended for everyone.

I was visiting from Virginia. I’m a big fan of Mexican food. I saw another rating saying this was the best burrito in their experience, so I tried it. He was right. The filling had a rich tomato sauce, with peppers and onions. It was delicious. Most restaurants burritos, tacos, etc., meat all look the same. If you’re ever in Sheridan eat here.
