This location is ultra-sweet, no pun included. On soo many levels, good wholesome food, prepared and able to be picked up at a moment 's notice. In person dining, as well as call ahead take-out. What User doesn't like about Designing Dinners:
Sheridan's nice. You'll never hear a horn pile. It seems the only argument in the city is over, which can convince the other car to go first to stop signs. In the Sheridan spirit I should just say good things about designing dinners, but I can't. I wanted this place to be good. Always high-quality, nutritious ingredients are used in carefully prepared menu items.
The take home meals are pretty dang good! Awesome for when you don't have dinner ideas. Eating in for lunch is also delicious
Very highly recommend Designing Dinners. Can dine in...they are being VERY careful. Or take out. Husband loved the Hungarian mushroom soup and sandwiches are ALWAYS wonderful! Fresh bread all made in house daily. Yummy!
Just tried Designing Dinners for the very first time today. Came in early, about 10:30 and spoke with several of the staff. We was invited to go ahead and sit down and look over the menu and they would be with us shortly. Our server was Sue and she was extremely nice, helpful, professional (yet personable) and knowledgeable. We ordered the Bronco on Dill Wheat and a Garden Gourmet. No soup or salad. We had coffee and hot tea. For desert, we each ordered slices of Blueberry Crumb Pie. We were going to have a slice of Cheesecake, but they did not offer plain Cheesecake. They also do not do French Fries, they do not have a deep fryer. So chips are main option basically, with one or two others. The place was quiet, clean and well taken care of. We never felt ignored or unimportant as customers. The staff was very attentive in all respects. This restaurant is no more expensive than any other eatery in Sheridan, for the most part. You do have more expensive restaurants, but this is the norm price wise. Note to the owner(s), hold onto Sue, she's definitely a keeper! One of the best servers that we have ever had the privilege of being served by.
How homemade food did you not cook your own? This is the place for you. The soups are different every day, and the Russian egg and olive sandwich is amazing!
