Most other pubs require us to buy a drink to use the toilet every single... read more I just have to say the staff owner of the pub treat the traders on the market so well! Most other pubs require us to buy a drink to use the toilet every single time which becomes pricey, the cross keys is the only pub that kinda just lets us run in as and when we need and of course in return we buy a coffee or two to say thanks. Even if we didn’t buy drinks they wouldn’t deny traders using their toilet and it makes all the difference to us. Simple nice gestures like that go along way! Selfless and pleasant staff

We were staying at a nearby hotel that didn’t offer dinner but recommended this place. We dined on a Saturday night after a long journey; it was lively but not overcrowded. We ordered the sharing platter, which was delicious, and then split a main course along with some wine. We finished our meal with desserts, and the Dorset apple cake was absolutely delightful.

We ate in the restaurant last night. The food was delicious. There is a surprising amount to see and do here in Sherborne.

We came to 5.00 clock and asked for a children's menu for hungry two years old we couldn't have had a better experience. the young man who served us was so help... read more We came to 5.00 clock and asked for a children's menu for hungry two years old we couldn't have had a better experience. the young man who served us was so helpful in every way possible, hastened to get a high chair, made everything fun and certainly did not see us as angry! as a result my grandson had a happy time and my daughter and I had a very special time. great praise and thank the waiter, he would no longer have done for us. the cross keys ensure every age!
