A very pleasant pub, full of little cosy nooks. The staff were really welcoming and hung out the birthday bunting for our occasion. The food took a while to arrive and although the pub had just opened, they had already run out of cod so I had to change my order, however there were plenty of appetising options on the menu so I had no problem choosing an alternative. What User doesn't like about Hunter's Moon:
I was very disappointed with the portion size and presentation at this restaurant. Even though we ordered the smaller option, it was still two-thirds of the price but less than half the size. The meal was haphazardly thrown onto a very small plate with no thought given to presentation, as if the smaller portion didn't deserve any effort or attention. View all feedback.

A lovely pub, full of character and charm, landlord and staff were really welcoming and a very happy team. Would very strongly recommend it for a drink with friends. But Sunday lunch was average-ish. Lamb was gristly, turkey overcooked and veg undercooked, roast pots as crispy as a worn pillow. Puddings the sticky toffee pudding was to die for! Would book again but avoid the carvery and choose from the main menu.
Really good lunch , The Land Lord is a really nice fella , Very friendly and welcoming and the Lady who took our order was very helpful with out hurrying us
