We ordered two pizzas for delivery around 5 PM and were informed it would take 40 minutes. However, by 6 PM, the pizzas had not arrived, so we called and were told they were running late. They verified our order, and we continued to wait. The pizzas finally arrived at 7 PM, but the order was incorrect. While we should have checked the order upon delivery, we assumed it would be right after such a long wait. At that point, we felt it wasn't worth calling again since everyone just wanted to eat. We wanted to give them another chance, so we ordered sandwiches on two more occasions, hoping they were just having an off night, but we were disappointed again. The pastrami sandwich was served on a grease-soaked bun with very little, dried-out, overcooked meat. I’m not sure how it was possible to have dry meat with all that grease. I really want Rustic Pizza to succeed since they are so close to us, and we would love to be regular customers.

The pizza is decent, but last time it arrived nearly two hours late and the order was incorrect. The tuna sub I had was the saltiest I've ever tasted, and seriously, two subs shouldn't take 20 minutes to prepare. Prices are on the high side, which I'd be fine with if the food were better. Unfortunately, the taste is below average, and that’s being generous. They would do much better if they simplified the menu and focused solely on pizzas. Until then, I won’t be wasting my money here, nor will I recommend it to friends.

Though the ownership has changed over the years and the place is small, the current team excels at crafting excellent crusts and uses top-quality ingredients in... read more Though the ownership has changed over the years and the place is small, the current team excels at crafting excellent crusts and uses top-quality ingredients in their pizzas. We’re happy to drive an extra 10 minutes to eat here, as they consistently serve delicious pizza. We’ll definitely keep ordering from them.
