Rocksalt side shell down. this was the second visit to a birthday contract. after perfect start, however, this was left off by the accompanying vegetables. last time we complained about the bratkartoffeln and nothing has changed. they were rock hard that obviously had been immersed in the deep fat freezer to heat them again, so it is almost impossible to cut them, alone eating them without serious danger to teeth. the boiled in their skin kartoffels looked good, but were the most dry sorts available to suck the last moisture from the mouth. the supplements are a paid and integral part of a meal, so much attention should be paid to them as the main. I had planned a clear suppe with fish shed and what was quite different. the dark orange mixed suppe was based on hussein, guanard and congereel. it came served with a mild Cheddar cheese, rouille(? and crumb. the suppe was simply delicious and was the perfect hearty dish after a walk around the windswept harbour. I thought that was excellent.
We are always cautious of restaurants with good views and brand sargeant ‘s fashionable rocksalt restaurant in its designed building with views of folkestone harbour is certainly a restaurant with a good view. we had a nice sunny day for our first visit in folkestone and had a nice time to explore the stunning lower leas coastal park before we went around the corner to the regenerated harbour and made our way past the kitchen outsighted area into the restaurant. when rocksalt was opened in 2011, it received some negative reviews that complained about eating as well as about the service – recent reviews showed improvements in both areas. although it did not begin...read more
