Feedback
I went to this restaurant for dinner after receiving a £20 discount. It has always been more of a lunch spot, but I was slightly disappointed when I was told that the catch of the day was unavailable, as well as one of the other two fish dishes. This is unacceptable for a fish restaurant. However, the prawn starter was good, as always, and the fish soup was also tasty. Unfortunately, my mussels were nothing special, similar to those at local pubs. On the bright side, my wife's cod was excellent. I believe that the standards at this restaurant are slipping, which is a shame.
We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at this restaurant, thanks to impeccable customer service. The bartender was delightful and made excellent Negronis. Les was quick to assist when my friend accidentally spilled her wine, and Megan was efficient and quiet as she refilled our glasses. The only letdown was that I forgot to take advantage of the Spring offer I had applied when booking, as well as the discount on my Rocksalt/Little Rock card. The food was fantastic and absolutely delicious.
We visited this restaurant for a birthday lunch. Despite not being very busy at the time, the layout of the restaurant made it feel spacious and comfortable. The views were stunning and the food was top-notch. The cheese soufflé and steak were cooked perfectly. The staff even surprised us with a little birthday treat after our meal, showing great thoughtfulness. I highly recommend this restaurant!
Absolutely outstanding lunch for my sons 24th birthday. The food was so fresh and delicious, the drinks were fantastic and very reasonably priced. Even on a grey rainy day the view was beautiful, but the best thing about this fab restaurant was the impeccable service..Absolutely seamless, unobtrusive but quick and cheerful. A great buzzy lovely atmosphere too The only quibble was the ladies loos are absolutely tiny..clean but tiny. So, apart from this I would 100% recommend this fabulous restaurant!
Best thing is it's in a great location. Its a bit of a Jekyll and Hyde place. Went here for an early evening drink and it was a nice quiet experience. The next time we went it was full of under 25s, with a DJ blasting out Techno music. Bit odd? Its not quiet sure what it wants to be and what customer it wants to attract.
