The pizza here is fantastic, especially the pumpkin and rosemary Giovanna. However, the gluten-free crusts are quite disappointing and not worth the extra $4. It would be great if they could find a new recipe or supplier for those. View all feedback.
Good for a lazy Friday night takeaway, nice pizza, affordable prices and quick friendly service. Will definitely be ordering pizza from here again
I really enjoy this pizza. It's traditional and delicious. From the name to the dough, this place is fantastic. Unfortunately, it's no longer my local spot, but I highly recommend it.
We tried the Elena and the Melissa, and both were simple yet flavorful with a fantastic crust, even after the drive home. They were neither too dry (looking at you, Little Caesar's!) nor overly greasy (a nod to Pleasant Pizza on Cambridge). I learned that Papa Bello's is the new name for Cicciobella—the previous owners sold the business to their former manager but kept the Cicciobella name for their pizza catering. The current owner mentioned that all the recipes remain the same, although he has made some adjustments to the dough. Honestly, I couldn't tell the difference, but it was tasty! The Margherita, Caterina, and Giovanna pizzas should still be excellent. They do lean on the pricey side, except on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, but then again, so do gourmet burgers and fries in this area.
Delicious pizza! We ordered on Friday night and were told it would take 25 minutes. It was definitely worth the wait; the pizzas were hot and tasty! I will definitely be returning.
Delicious pizza, especially the pumpkin and rosemary Giovanna. The gluten free bases are terrible, and definitely not worth the extra $4. Find a new recipe or supplier.
