Happened to be in the Woodlands at lunchtime and we were craving some Mediterranean food. A quick check on Yelp lead us to pick Mary'x Mediterranean Cuisine. We seated ourselves and the server promptly brought us water and asked if we had any questions. We ordered grilled Halloumi Cheese, Tabouli salad, the Chicken Shawarma, and the Kafta Kebab sandwich. What User doesn't like about Mary’z Mediterranean Grill:
My boyfriend and I were originally going to go to a chain restaurant for dinner but decided to try somewhere more local. Found this place and ended up just wishing we went somewhere else. The service was okay, the waitress was very kind though she never came by to check on us or refill our waters. We spent $40 on bland cold food. Ate at Mary' a couple of years ago while in the Woodlands and everything was unbelievably good so when we returned 5/13/22 for a concert, we couldn't wait to eat at Mary's. We arrived around 1:00PM and placed our order and was surprised that they didn't have any iced tea. My wife ordered chicken shawarma, I got a beef/lamb sandwich, roasted potatoes, hummus, green beans and meat grape leaves. The grape leaves were very good but everything else lacked seasoning, shawarma was dry and chewy, no Greek sauce on my sandwich (had to ask for salt and pepper), hummus was bland as were the green beans. We remembered how good the baklava with ice cream was but they didn't have any so we just got an order of baklava which was small and hard- looked like store bought. We were very disappointed and will probably not go back.

I have other personal favorite Mediterranean spots in the Houston area I prefer more than Mary'z, thus the 4 stars but if you're in the Woodlands and craving some legit Mediterranean, you should have yourself a good experience here.
Best baba ganoush I’ve ever tasted. Mint lemonade is tasty and refreshing.

The “pita bread” was like eating card board, the chicken was dry and bland, and the potatoes were okay, but the ones on the bottom were sitting in olive oil? All the reviews here talked about the ambiance? The ambiance of us and another table sitting in awkward silence, with the lovely hum of the soda machine? This place is WAY over priced and just overall odd. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, and we won’t be back
I ordered my food to go, so I can't comment on service. The food was well-done, I wasn't disappointed. The hummus with beef was my favorite thing:
