Spotted Horse Tavern - Shelton

The food was delicious and the portions were generous—there were so many appealing options on the menu. I ordered the Greek salad with shrimp, and it was fantastic, especially the dressing. My friend chose the veggie burger and was pleased to find it was homemade rather than a pre-packaged Beyond Burger, which was why she picked it. We also tried the calamari, but it had a slightly fishy taste, so I might pass on that next time. Overall, it was a wonderful experience! The ambiance inside was lovely, and our waiter was excellent. The food arrived in a timely manner.

I absolutely love the food here, the drinks are excellent, and the service is incredibly friendly! With options like the steaks, dragon chicken bowl, and veggie pasta, you're in for a real delight. It's also a fantastic ambiance for a date!

The overall ambiance is quite enjoyable, featuring numerous horse-themed pictures and decorations. The food is satisfactory, but doesn't offer any standout innovation. It reminds me of another restaurant that used to be in this location in Shelton—Marketplace, I believe? The vibe is quite similar. The service is decent as well. I had heard great things about this place, but I personally didn't find anything particularly remarkable.

Had the pleasure of dining last monday at the Spotted Horse Shelton. I had the Porkchop Scarpiello, my wife had the Grey Goose Cobb and my kids split a chicken Buddha Bowl! The server we had was Alvaro and he was so good that he modified my wife's salad with no fuss and he even split the kids bowl in 2 without us asking! 10/10 service. 9/10 food. 10/10 atmosphere. Phenomenal experience highly would recommend.
