When the food was served, it looked impressive, but the taste left much to be desired, especially compared to several Japanese restaurants in Sydney. For example, the miso soup was overly salty, the avocado in the sushi was under-ripe and bitter, and the bulgogi was dry. The yakitori chicken was overwhelmed by soy sauce, making it extremely salty, and the chicken itself didn’t taste fresh.

We love this place, sushi and sashimi is delish, the prices are quite affordable and we never leave feeling hungry sometimes we even go twice in one week!

Moon's Sushi is only a short walk away from the waterfront and an easy parking area a street away located on a prominent corner in a great restaurant hub. We sat down to a quiet dinner. We ordered Curry Katsuカレーライス, Bibimbab 비빔밥, takoyaki たこ焼き(octopus balls/dumplings) and grilled sushi. A very tasty meal with a wonderful array of flavours served with a bowl of miso soup. The staff were very friendly and service was quick.
Quick stop after a hot swim. Place is small cosy with cool fresh air con available. Sushi is super fresh and tasty. This is the medium sushi platter below. Great place for a healthy feed indeed. Table service can be a bit up and down yet otherwise great place if your passing by!
