I did not get this level of serv... read more The quality of the pallet was amazing as always, but tonight the service we received at the food in Crust Shellharbour left me. I did not get this level of service for a loooong time, was not aware that it still existed. The waffles with the salted caramel sauce were an amazing compliment to garlic bread, garlic pizze Moroccan Lammpizze powdered.

It took 1.5 hours to deliver to our order. When it arrived, all pizzas were cold. We asked for no fresh chili, but got extra fresh chili! None of the pizzas were cut properly and we had to cut them ourselves. Very frustrating and disappointing.

What I don't enjoy is having to wait between an 1.5-2h overtime for a delivery, despite setting a delivery time 2h later through the website. Unfortunately this isn't the first time this has happened. I understand the staff do their best on busy nights, however I believe that there were not enough staff for a rainy weekend night. Our call went unanswered for 20 minutes before a frazzled employee answered the phone apologising. The poor thing sounded like she has spent the night dealing with exactly the same kinds of calls as ours demanding where our food is. I also wish that the franchisee had the ability to adjust the ETA on orders, giving real time estimate on pick-up and delivery. This would help customers choose if they wish to wait during busy periods or go elsewhere. Hoping this helps others in the future when deciding to order here on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday evening. Even ordering ahead of time doesn't help apparently.

Even the dog had trouble... read more The pizzas at this restaurant were very dry, with only a small amount of sauce that ended up getting charred and adding to the dryness. Even the dog had trouble swallowing it. The chips also had a stale powder taste to them, which the dog did not enjoy either. Overall, everything at this restaurant seemed crusty, in line with its name I suppose.

It took an hour and a half for our pizza to be delivered, even after calling three times and finding out that the delivery hadn't even left yet. When we spoke to the manager about the poor service, they admitted that they are understaffed. The owner really needs to improve their business and work harder to provide better service. This isn't the first time we've had a disappointing experience at Crust Shellharbour.
