Wow....in one dinner Carmelina's has redeemed themselves. We have eaten here half a dozen times, food is good but most of time, but sometimes what we want to eat, they are out of...like shrimp. Love the on-the-water dining and decor even if it gets a bit wavy when a big boat passes by. But this last Saturday night we took the boat over for prime rib....and it was fantastic! What Jing R doesn't like about Carmelina's:
Food tasted fine. However, the small portions with the high prices overshadowed the possibility of a positive experience. Paid almost $25/person. Left pretty unsatisfied and even grilled burgers once we got home--which we've NEVER done before. Don't mind paying the higher prices when you leave full-but not hungry. No Pre-meal bread offered- would've helped. Such a strange dilemma. View all feedback.

Prepared perfectly, generous portions, sides were excellent. We will definitely be back for prime rib night. Also, all at our table (4) had **** Mary drinks, they are excellent made with Sake (said they had to due to being on the water), but they are very very good. Service was prompt and friendly.
We were lucky enough to have the opportunity to take a boat ride to eat supper at this waterfront restaurant. The special was pizza and chili dogs, which I had one of each. I thought both had very good flavor. My wife wasn't nearly as happy with her pizza. Mine was a thin crust with hers being the regular. Other eating partner had spaghetti and also complemented the flavor. I would rate the food and service a 3.5 star and the location and decor a five.
Very disappointed in the service and food. Paid $20 a plate for dry chicken and noodles that had no flavor. Great location and atmosphere but not worth it.

Nice restaurant with friendly, fast service recurring checking in to make sure everyone is satisfied. Everyone was happy with their food you wouldn 't expect an Italian restaurant to have $1 Taco Tuesdays, and you wouldn 't expect them to be good on top of that, but the members of my party who got the tacos quite enjoyed them. I got the seafood ravioli and enjoyed it. Everyone seemed happy with their meal overall. (My sister complained the salad 's lettuce tasted like dish soap , but she was the only one who thought so, and between you and me, she 's kinda weird. Everyone was especially happy with dessert I tried bits of the tiramisu and the chocolate cake and really liked them both. A gluten free member was in my party and was able to enjoy a nice dinner (tacos with gluten free shells and dessert (the flan .
