Description
Part lively bar, part casual diner, this lakeside spot offers friendly staff, a DJ, Wing Nights and popular dishes like hamburger steak, fried shrimp and corn nuggets. Many praise the fun atmosphere, owner-run vibe and prompt service, while others note inconsistent food quality (notably disappointing pizza), occasional smoke from a nearby pool hall, and unreliable to‑go orders despite delivery. Best for casual evenings, group outings and boat-parade crowds rather than fine dining.

We visited for dinner after the Lay Lake Boat Parade and found the restaurant to be quite quiet. We arrived a bit early for their usual crowd, but regardless, the food was great. I ordered the hamburger steak, while my wife had the fried shrimp meal, and both dishes were delicious. The service was prompt, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience. Service: Dine-in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20.

The food was exceptional, earning a perfect score of 5. The service was equally impressive, with attentive and friendly staff who made the evening even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was delightful, creating a wonderful setting for our meal. Overall, I highly recommend this place for a great dining experience! --- Feel free to adjust any part to better suit your style!
We didn't realize this was primarily a bar, but we called ahead to place a to-go order. When we arrived, they informed us that they had forgotten to prepare it, so my husband had to wait an additional 20 minutes for the food to be cooked. I would rate the food a 3 out of 10. We ordered four different meals, and unfortunately, none of them were good. Their Facebook page was misleading, making it seem like a proper restaurant with a bar and grill. It was evident that they were not eager to make the food. Overall, I would rate it: Food: 2, Service: 1, Atmosphere: 1.
