Had an enjoyable lunch on Shelbournes Main Street in a quaint Bakery. Service is good. I had the mushroom soup accompanied by fresh delicious multi grain bread. Also had a nice sweet turkey wrap thanks to the red pepper jelly inside. A nice lunch on...a winters day. Lots of items on the former hardwares store shelves. View all feedback.
Very cute and charming, nice lunch type menu, they also sell crafts and jams and salad dressings. You go to the counter to order and then sit they bring the food to your table. The food was very tasty I got turkey rice...soup and an egg sandwich, my husband got carrot turnip soup and a BLT. He got a coffee and I got an iced cappuccino. It cost $35 which we thought was expensive for what we got. However, the bread on the sandwich was really delicious!
This is truly a gem of a place in Shelburne. Great home made Soup and Sandwichs on fresh baked bread, display fridges full of delicious treats to accompany your coffee or tea! Gift baskets and gifts with local jams, pickles, from local food artisans. The...atmosphere of the high ceilings and eclectic furnishings add charm and comfort, as well as the great staff who provided great service and are never short on the local news, it's truly a Canadian experience! This place could easily be mistaken as scene in the tv/Netflix Gilmore Girls town of Stars Hollow!
The service at this restaurant is very attentive and personal. The owner and staff are extremely friendly, and the food quality is outstanding. It's a fantastic place, and I will definitely be returning.
We stopped at Jelly Craft on our way from Toronto to Owen Sound. They make a great Americano coffee, and we also enjoyed a freshly baked apple bran muffin and a delicious chocolate chip knot bread. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The seating was comfortable and they had some nice crafts, including beautiful stoneware. The food had a local touch to it, and it was a lovely place to stop on our journey. The atmosphere had a beautiful local charm as well.
Honestly, the only things that made our experience even better were the right location and the young lady who served us at the counter. We enjoyed a big French toast, croissant, and coffee.
