Black Birch Restaurant - Mono

This restaurant is a hidden gem! It is open 364 days a year and features a daily updated menu. Despite offering fancy dining in a rural setting, it is budget-friendly. I enjoy observing birds and other wildlife through the windows while dining.

I have visited this restaurant before many years ago and it is still a good place. It would be great if they offered a smaller option for the tenderloin. We were a large group so I rated the service a 4, though only the main course took a while to arrive. The ambiance was nice.

I recently visited the Black Birch in the Hockley Valley while on my way to Guelph. It was a gorgeous day with the sun shining, and I was able to finally dine at the restaurant after previous failed attempts due to it being either busy or closed. I thoroughly enjoyed a delicious Potato Soup, a refreshing Spinach Salad with Prosciutto, and a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. Karen, the hostess, was fantastic. I highly recommend stopping by when you're in the area - take your time and savor the experience. Life is short and this meal was definitely worth it. I will definitely return in the future.

Every meal we have had here is amazing. Service is awesome and the atmosphere too.
