We received a wonderful welcome, the restaurant was beautifully decorated for Mother’s Day, the service was spot on and the food was perfect. We all ordered different things and it was all delicious and beautifully presented. And to top it off the mothers received a lovely gift! It was truly the best meal we have had in a long time and we’ll certainly return.

However on this occasion the f... read more I travelled around 35 miles in order to have a special birthday treat. I had eaten at the restaurant before and was very pleased. However on this occasion the food was extremely poor, and did not reflect the discription on the menu. Lamb shanks dry, over cooked and appeared to have normal gravy, not as described. Sea bass tasted very nice but so little of it was expecting to see the fish not parts of it delivered in a little dish Pasta very disappointed only ONE prawn found in it Cream brûlée was nothing like a brûlée it came as a crumble Other sweets, strawberry ??? Did not eat this it was very bitter All the starters were very nice and good value for money too The bill came to £140.00 for 4 people. The cost would not be an issue had the food been enjoyable. Feels like I paid £140:00 for the starters and the drinks I am pleased to have the opportunity to respond to you as I believe it helps towards improving the way you deliver your service.
