What Sandra houston doesn't like about The Blacksmiths Arms:
Zeros stars! No food even on Sunday! No dogs allowed in most of the pub! Due to them not being on their rather grubby carpet! As no seats anywhere else we had to leave. The place had 8 people in and were not accommodating! There were 13 of us on holiday there so they lost a good but of business! Not that I think they’d care as website is shambles. Don’t think this place will last. Avoid and go to The Huntsman. View all feedback. What Rafael Angelucci likes about The Blacksmiths Arms:
This pub is very traditional, with a pool table, great selection of beers, and a cozy atmosphere. It's the perfect spot for anyone seeking tranquility and relaxation at the entrance of the Peak District. View all feedback.

Unpleasant experiences included flies during meals, a loss of business due to poor service, and accusations of wrongdoing. However, some praised the cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and good food. The pub offers a comfortable stay at a reasonable price, with clean rooms and a good breakfast. Overall, while it may not be perfect, it remains a popular spot for those seeking tranquility and relaxation.
